JULIUS PEKENE is the Executive Director of the Sambo Foundation and is responsible for driving the Foundation’s mission to bring transformative change to the communities we serve.

He has several years of experience in the private, public and corporate sectors where he has worked as Associate Counsel, Legal Officer and State Counsel.

Julius has a Master’s Degree in International Commercial Law with Distinction from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, United Kingdom and is a 2014 recipient of the Aberdeen Business School/Thomson Reuters Prize for the Best Student in International Commercial Law.

He is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK.
