We believe access to quality basic and higher education is essential to breaking the cycle of poverty and underdevelopment in the Communities of the Niger-Delta.
The Sambo Foundation is committed to bridging this access gap through our yearly scholarship awards which provide high performing youth from underserved communities with opportunities to fund their educational pursuits across the Country and other parts of the world.
The Sambo Foundation Vocational Skills & Entrepreneurship Support Programmes are activities and events curated to engage, inspire and support homegrown entrepreneurship, particularly among our youth, thereby advancing the cause of economic growth and innovation within our local communities. These activities include training sessions, networking and collaboration sessions, pitch competitions and awards.
Our STEM & Digital Skills programmes are targeted at youth and women, training, equipping, and empowering them with knowledge, tools and resources for opportunities in STEM and other Digital careers.
The Communities of the Niger-Delta are simultaneously resource rich and energy deficient. The Sambo Foundation aims to support and incubate small-scale renewable energy solutions that address the peculiar energy access challenges of local communities particularly in Bayelsa State and across the Niger Delta
